1. Booking & Payment
1.1. To secure your booking cocktail bar hire, a non-refundable deposit of an agreed amount between The Corner Cauldron and the Customer is required upon your booking confirmation. Until the deposit is received, your booking will remain provisional and may be released without notice.
1.2. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 14 days prior to the event date. If the balance is not settled within this timeframe, the company reserves the right to cancel the booking, and the deposit will be forfeited.
1.3. Additional services, such as upgraded bar packages, extended hours, or specialty items, must be requested at least 14 days before the event. Any additional costs incurred after final payment must be settled on the day of the event.
1.4. Payments can be made via bank transfer or in person at the venue. Please note that any bank fees or charges incurred will be the responsibility of the client.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1. All cancellations must be made in writing via email to sam@cornercauldron.co.uk. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.
2.2. Cancellations made with less than 15 days before the event date will result in the loss of the deposit.
2.3. Cancellations made with 15 or more days of the event will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total cost of the deposit, The remaining balance of the deposit will be refunded to the customers nominated bank account via bank transfer within 5 working days.
2.4. In the unlikely event that the company needs to cancel the booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., staff illness, equipment failure), a full refund of all payments, including the deposit, will be issued. The company will not be held liable for any consequential losses incurred by the client due to such cancellation. The payment will be refunded to the customers nominated bank account via bank transfer within 5 working days.
3. Use of Dry Ice and Special Effects
3.1. Dry ice and other special effects are handled exclusively by our trained staff to ensure safety and proper use. Guests and clients are strictly prohibited from handling, touching, or interacting with the dry ice or related equipment.
4. Health & Safety Compliance
4.1. All ingredients and equipment provided meet strict health and safety standards. Our staff are trained to follow best practices for handling and serving food and beverages.
4.2. The client must inform the company of any known allergies, dietary restrictions, or specific guest requirements no less than 14 days before the event. While every effort will be made to accommodate special requests, the company cannot guarantee complete allergen-free options due to the nature of the service.
4.3. Guests are encouraged to drink responsibly. The company reserves the right to refuse alcohol service to any guest who appears intoxicated, is under the legal drinking age, or displays inappropriate behaviour.
5. Damage, Loss & Liability
5.1. The client is responsible for any damage caused to bar equipment, decorations, or the venue by guests or third-party suppliers hired by the client. The cost of repair or replacement will be assessed after the event, and the client will be invoiced accordingly.
5.2. Any loss or theft of equipment or personal items belonging to guests or staff is not the responsibility of the company. Guests are encouraged to keep personal belongings secure.
5.3. The company holds comprehensive insurance coverage for public liability and professional indemnity. A copy of our insurance certificate can be provided upon request in writing.
6. Door Staff & Security
6.1. If door staff is included or requested as part of the hire, their role is to ensure the safety and security of guests and staff. This includes managing entry, monitoring guest behaviour, and responding to any incidents or emergencies.
6.2. Guests must follow any instructions provided by door staff, particularly in relation to entry requirements, dress codes, or prohibited items. Failure to comply may result in guests being refused entry or removed from the venue.
6.3. The client will be held liable for any fines, penalties, or legal fees resulting from non-compliance with licensing or safety regulations, whether caused by the client, guests, or third-party suppliers.
7. Force Majeure
7.1. The Corner Cauldron shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations if such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, fire, acts of terrorism, government restrictions, or pandemics.
7.2. In the event of a force majeure occurrence, the Corner Cauldron will work with the client to reschedule the event at no additional cost.
8. Alcohol Service & Licensing
8.1. All alcohol served will be in compliance with local licensing laws. The members of staff reserve the right to ask for proof of age from any guest and to refuse service to anyone who cannot provide appropriate identification.
8.2. Alcohol service will cease at the time agreed upon in the booking. Any requests for extended service hours must be made in advance and may incur additional charges, subject to licensing restrictions.
9. Final Agreements
9.1. By confirming your booking and making the deposit payment, you agree to these terms and conditions in full.
9.2. Any amendments or changes to these terms must be made in writing and agreed upon by both parties.
9.3. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
